Bellevue Arts Museum is celebrating the 77th BAMARTSfair this month, July 28, 29, & 30. The fair brings some of the nation's most talented artists to the Pacific Northwest. This year's line-up includes 300+ artists, selected by a jury panel and I am honored to be one of them. I’ve done some other shows in the area, but this is my first time at this very prestigious show and I’m really proud of getting in. I will only be selling my jewelry at this show, why you may ask. Well, most every show I do requires artists to submit an application with photos of our art and our booth along with an artist statement and an application fee. A separate application must be submitted for each category of work, so I do one for jewelry and a second one for my sculptures. Sometimes I don’t get in at all, sometimes I’m accepted for jewelry and sculpture, sometimes just one, like this time. Now you know.
I’m making a lot of one-of-a-kind pieces especially for this show, so I’ll have the widest selection of jewelry I’ve probably ever had.
