The chrysanthemum has many symbolic meanings. In China, it’s associated with nobility and elegance as well as a long and happy life. I just really love the lush curving petals. This one-of-a-kind piece has lots of those petals, hand-cut from aluminum sheet, hammered into shape and anodized an “Imperial” purple.
